Seneca Highlands Career and Technical Center Student Heading to Nationals

Anastasia Penick, a senior from Port Allegany High School and third year culinary arts student, competed at the SkillsUSA state competition in Hershey from April 3 through April 5, 2024. Ana finished with a first place win and will now attend the SkillUSA Nationals competition, which will be held in Atlanta, GA, from June 24 through June 27, 2024. A first place win at this level will secure her place in the world competition held in Paris, France.

In addition to her academic achievements, Ana also works at Fox’s Pizza in Port Allegany. She plans on furthering her education in the dietary and nutrition field after graduation. She has applied to the Forest County Corrections Center as a corrections food service instructor.

We wish Ana the best of luck at the competition, and we are extremely proud of her success!
